Internships are a critical way to gain experience but also understand what you are looking for once you graduate! I actually took an internship after I graduated college because I had no experience in that industry (my internships in college were related to a different field). It was the best experience I could have imagined! If I had one piece of advice for college students, it would be do as many internships you can! The 2nd piece of advice, study abroad!
