So that’s where they got the clay pots from!!! I have been watching a Serbian cooking channel on Youtube for a year now trying to find out where this guy got these massive clay pots for cooking from. Channel is called Almazan Kitchen. Btw… great photos!

Hi Katie,

My wife is Serbian from Bajina Bašta, and so for the last 10yrs we have gone 2 to 3 times a year as we lived in Prague and then London. Belgrade is cool – but Bajina Bašta/Tara is just unbelievable. I am a Brit originally and I just love the whole country, food, people and culture so much.

Great blog and pics! You need to attend the yearly “boat regata” – that is an experience to behold

Kosovo is not a country, Kosovo is south Serbian province and across the Drina River is the Republic of Srpska, the Serbian part of Bosnia and Herzegovina not Kosovo.
