Do you ever buy travel insurance for your trips? Would def recommend it.

Hi there. Please don’t take this wrong way…buy why do you think United owes you more as a loyal customer….those others that aren’t loyal customers still had their plans messed up too…I’m just not understanding the entitlement. And something I’ve been wanting to ask…why do ALWAYS have to have the best of everything? Best flight, best most expenses hotel? I mean I get not wanting a crummy hotel…I’m the same way….but staying at these luxury hotels and being so judgy just comes across very boogie. I’m a fan of yours and love following you but you come across extremely entitled sometimes. At first I thought it was bc you are an influencer, but then I see so many other influencers who are more down to earth and will stay at middle of the ground resorts to save some money or not have to eat five star for every dinner. And no I’m not jealous…I live a very satisfying life and like to enjoy the finer things here and there too…and honestly I’m not trying to be mean in any way…I’m just trying to understand….I mean you say “you’ve been there before” when I asked about Paris and your honeymoon, but you don’t really act like it…So I guess I just want to know once again…why the entitlement? And PS clothes that are under a $100 are still expensive to some…why not do Amazon hauls that so many influencers are doing these days to relate to a larger following. Again, you are great and I am so glad you had a wonderful honeymoon and can’t wait to hear about the rest…these are just things I’ve been wondering awhile ( you seemed so much more down to earth before especially when you were in college and first moved to NYC…I miss that KatiesBliss)

Thanks so much for your review! When you say to book a direct flight whenever possible, do you mean no stopovers? Or what do you mean in terms of long flights like this where there is definitely going to be layovers? Thanks again.

What an amazing trip! It’s such a bummer about your flight experience getting there. I don’t know if you considered purchasing trip insurance, but I would highly recommend looking into it in the future. It usually isn’t super expensive, and covers things like trip cancellation, trip interruption, medical care, etc. We had a similar flight issue recently, and were able to cancel our flight and book a different one with no out of pocket costs using the trip insurance policy. Allianz is my go-to, but there are tons out there. Frankly I’ve taken to purchasing it more often than not just for the peace of mind!

Thank you so much for such a detailed review of your trip/ honeymoon. AMAZING! I loved watching your insta stories – it was like you took us along :-). The closest I have ever gotten was staying at Disney Wilderness Lodge and taking one of their private “safari” tours. I’m not complaining – probably next best thing to the real thing.

And your outfits – def clicking on a few items 🙂
