Plaid Cardigan Coat at the Waldorf Astoria

December looks good on you New York! This weekend was perfect thanks to a combination of sunny skies, mild temps and all the holiday decor that now adorns the city. Krista and I met up on Saturday for brunch uptown and a little exploring at the Waldorf Astoria. Guys, this hotel is SO BIG. We almost got lost exploring all the floors and event spaces.

I do enjoy getting dolled up on the weekends and I love living in a city where I don’t have to feel ridiculous wearing heels and a patterned coat in public. Speaking of… this plaid cardigan coat is so comfy and warm! I love how it makes a statement and is perfect for the holidays. I like this similar style in red too!

Last but not least, let’s talk about these photos! I rarely venture to Midtown on weekends since I’m there all week for work. On Saturday it was SO quiet and we had the best time getting these very “New York” snaps with the whizzing taxis on Park Avenue. Maybe I’ll have to drag Nick up there for some photo sessions!
