Have you ever had a moment where you felt like you were in a movie? Well that’s exactly how I felt shooting with Maison Jules in the West Village last month. The new Maison Jules fall arrivals at Macy’s basically were designed for me. (Or maybe that’s just what I’m telling myself…) All the Parisian-inspired stripes, midi and skater skirts, tailored vests and silky blouses had me feeling like Carrie Bradshaw.
Keep on scrolling to watch me in Maison Jules’ new series, Voila! chatting about my favorite fall transitional pieces, plus my best Sex & The City strut (down a cobblestone street…)
I wear my stripe t-shirts and sweaters year-round, so I’m excited to add this stripe dress into the rotation!
One of the trends I’m excited to explore more this fall and winter is blazer-inspired vests! I wore one a few weeks ago and got so much great feedback, so I couldn’t resist doing it again over straight-leg pants and a tunic.
This look is probably my favorite. And not because I got to pretend I owned a West Village brownstone and creep on someone’s stoop… I definitely plan on opting for a skirt like this instead of my blue jeans this fall. It’s so much more comfortable than a tight pair of skinnies!
Of course I can’t not talk about sweaters. You can’t go wrong with stripes — I love the button side-detailing on this style.
Would love to hear your thoughts on the video and these Maison Jules looks in the comments!
Thank you to Maison Jules for sponsoring this post!
