There’s no doubt about it: I have more than enough boots. That said, wedges aren’t something you’ll see on my feet very often — especially during the colder months. I remember I had a lace-up army green pair that I wore all throughout college that sadly succumbed to wear and tear. During my school years I always went for comfort over style and gosh, those were perfect for stomping around campus to class.

I’ve always kept my eye out for a replacement for my beloved college shoes. Fast forward to today and wedges are adorning my feet once again! I knew I had to have these SOREL Conquest Wedges as soon as I spotted them on Zappos.com.
I was immediately drawn to the rustic leather and treaded soles — perfect for pounding the pavement on messy winter days! Not only do these look warm, but they actually are thanks to a microfleece lining and waterproof design. Expect to see me wearing these a ton over the next few months!
