Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2020 Fall Outfits

I’m so happy with all of the items I bought from this year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I was a little nervous going into the sale because normally I try on everything first in the store, but this year luck was on my side and nearly everything I ordered turned out to be a win. Good for the closet, bad for the wallet 😛

What to buy at the 2020 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

As you can see my shopping list consisted mostly of new fall clothing— cardigans, chunky sweaters, tunic-length tops and outerwear. Since I’ll be wearing all of these things post-pregnancy I bought nearly all in my normal size small. I scored so many amazing pairs of tall and over the knee-style boots at last year’s sale, so this time I focused on flats and short booties.

Socialite Double-V Long Sleeve Knit Dress

A note on sold out items! Don’t get discouraged if something you were eyeing is already sold out. People always over-buy at the Anniversary Sale. The folks who shopped the sale early are already beginning to make returns, which then get re-added to the sale inventory. So it’s always worth it to keep checking back! In the past Nordstrom has also reserved extra inventory of items for when public access begins. I don’t know for sure what their plan is for this year, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed that’s the case!
