I’ve worn this skirt and tweed top before in outfit posts, but I decided to refresh them a bit by adding a new printed scarf and knee high boots to this look from over the weekend. So you’re probably wondering why I wore this outfit for a weekend excursion to Central Park… Well the story is kinda goofy, maybe even a little embarrassing, but Nick and I thought it would be fun to get dressed up and play as if we were these big time shoppers dropping tons of $$ at all the shops on 5th and Madison Avenues. I mean, I think we’ve all experienced a snobby salesperson who totally turns up their nose and judges you because you’re dressed in sweats or you look young. It’s a crappy feeling. So yeah, Nick and I were both just like what the hell? Let’s pretend like we’re the #RichKids of Beverly Hills. We can’t shop like them but maybe we can look like them? #pleasetellmeimnotcrazy

    You look great. I always dress up a bit if I am going to shop at nice stores. It just helps the whole experience. And it helps me feel more comfortable too. It is wrong but I hate being judged so I just don’t give them the chance.
