Yesterday I saw The Nutcracker and it was incredible. It really brought me back to my childhood when I took ballet classes and performed in my hometown’s performance of the show. I highly recommend going to see it!

Before heading to Lincoln Center for the performance, Nick, my grandparents and I had brunch in the King Cole Bar at The St. Regis Hotel. Fun fact: the King Cole Bar is also the birthplace of the bloody mary! In 1934 it was invented by a bartender and nicknamed the “Red Snapper” –  though clearly that name didn’t stick. They were so good my gram and I may have had a few each…

I was originally thinking of repeating this outfit, but ended up wearing what you see here. I felt that this Asos red coat was way more festive. The way it flares also kinda reminds me of a ballerinas tutu! If you’re interested, it comes in a few different colors and is also on sale. My Kate Spade bag is about 50% off too!
