Despite a little rain on Saturday and Nick’s broke leg that is still healing, this weekend has so far been a blast! Yes, I’m currently home on the couch enjoying a three-day weekend thanks to Columbus Day… Saturday was spent trying out a salt therapy session at Breathe Easy (great if you suffer from allergies or eczema) and brunching at Root & Bone (ammmazinggg Southern food). Yesterday we celebrated our five year anniversary with an Italian feast at Il Mulino – soo sooo good.
I was wearing…
Flannel Plaid Shirt | Faux Leather A-line Skirt | Funnel Knit Skirt (comes in a few other colors!) | Faux Leather Hobo Bag | Knee-High Boots | Movado watch c/o | Stila “Raspberry Crush” Lip & Cheek stain c/o
Say hello to my go to weekday work look. It’s funny because this Old Navy skirt and plaid shirt is totally what I would’ve worn on class days when I was in college. Not to mention, it’s a look that was totally in line with my college budget. Guess some things don’t change right? One of the things I love about working in the PR industry is the dress code is pretty casual – no one really judges and it’s common for people to dress true to their personal style. For me that means attire that is both classic and preppy.
How do you express your personal style at work? Have you shopped at Old Navy recently?

Hi, such a cute outfit. I always winder about leather skirts and leather shoes. But, seeing it on you, I love it. I will do the same! =) I visited the Old Navy website after seeing your post. I didn’t get what you had on, but a cute fleece fair isle scarf and a few other accessories. Have a great remainder of your weekend.
