Show Stopper Stripes & Faux Fur

Nick and I are throwing our first holiday party this weekend and I’m still deciding what to wear. I would have never thought to pair this Chic Wish green stripe skirt and faux fur vest, but the idea came to me last weekend when I going through my closet for potential party outfits. I love that this look is cozy on top and sassy on the bottom! No reason why you can’t dress up a sweater and vest with a flashy skirt. Am I right?

I’m a big fan of wearing midi and maxi skirts year-round. If the weather is mild enough, the length of the skirt will still keep your legs warm and you can avoid tights. I’ve only had to wear tights once so far this month and I’m hoping it will stay that way…

PS who watched the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show last night? I did while eating a Dominos pizza and drinking a beer (as seen on Twitter). So much for a model diet… Also the Empire State Building was lit up PINK in honor of the event! I posted a photo on my Instagram if you want to see.
