One of the things I miss the most during the colder months is wearing my Lilly Pulitzer dresses. Lilly is synonymous with bright prints, summertime, Palm Beach, drinks by the pool… and the list goes on! Not exactly words I’d equate with winter in New York City.
While I can’t wear Lilly as often as I like when it’s cold, I always end up finding an item or two I can work into my winter wardrobe. Case in point my white puffer vest and now this Lilly Pulitzer french terry dress!

This weekend I’m escaping the extreme cold to go visit my parents at the beach in North Carolina! It’s not going to be much warmer there but at least there won’t be sub-zero temperatures 😛 My heart goes out to those working and everyone in town for New York Fashion Week! I’m relieved that I chose to skip out on most of the craziness this season. I have to do a few small things for work today and next week, but other than that I’m staying clear of the madness.
