Navy Hunter Rain Boots + Winter Coat Sale

If you thought my down puffer coat and winter boot days were gone for the season, think again! After a week of oddly warm weather it was painful to have to bundle up yesterday, but at least I had the consolation of debuting my new tall navy Hunter rain boots. I became a first time owner of Hunters last year (in glossy red of course) so I’m excited to add matte navy to my shoe collection. Clearly I’ve been on a navy kick  😛

I also have to point out there are some amazing winter coat sales currently happening. I’m talking big bargains with markdowns over 50% off. I know how tempting it can be to want to spend on the spring arrivals hitting stores, but your wallet will thank you next year when you don’t have to pay full price for new outerwear.

Besides getting to take my new boots out for a spin, this week had a few other highlights worth mentioning. Nick took the lead on planning our latest date night (so proud) and on Thursday we tried Nerai, a greek restaurant in Midtown. Then on Saturday we impulsively started craving poke bowls so we headed down to The Poke Spot in Union Square. It’s been on my bucket list for a while and reminded us of all the fresh seafood we ate in Hawaii. Will definitely be going back for more!

I always feel like every year we get a tease of spring for a week or two and then it flips back to completely frigid. Fingers crossed I won’t have to rock this coat for much longer!
