I sometimes find warmer tones, particularly yellow, tough to style. I just feel like these shades have a tendency to wash me out, which is why I typically steer clear. I ordered this yellow cocktail dress for the Bahamas and it surprised me in the best way possible. I couldn’t believe how much I liked it when I wore it out our first night at The Atlantis. The golden fabric and eyelet detailing is honestly so pretty in person.

I have to confess: I did cheat a little bit with this look. While I wish I could say my bronzed skin was a result of the sun, I have to give credit to my St. Tropez Bronzing Mousse. I have a feeling I wouldn’t have liked this dress as much if I had worn it looking as as pale as ghost. 😛
So while I have this tan I might as well take advantage of it right? There’s lot of pretty yellow things in stores right now that I may just have to add another dress (or two) to my closet. Here are few more that have caught my eye…
