Tie Dye Dress Two Ways

Tie dye will always have a special place in my heart. Who else grew up making tie dye shirts every summer? I feel like that was the go-to camp activity for those of us who opted for arts & crafts over sports 😛 I actually still have an oversized tie dye shirt that I made in middle school that I wear as a pajama top. Anyways before I go down the most random memory lane any further, back to today’s post!

Excuse the shortage of pictures with this look. Clearly Nick and I were having too much fun on the beach because when I went to look at my memory card on the plane home I realized we only got a handful of snaps of this tie dye swing dress.  Whoops! Those piña coladas will get ya every time I’m telling ya.

So I love this dress for a few reasons. 1) It’s tie dye (duh.) 2) It can be worn as a casual dress. 3) It doubles as a swim coverup! I wore it both ways in Aruba and really appreciated the lightweight fabric and generous flowy fit. It’s the perfect thing to wear if you plan on eating a ton of fish tacos like I did right before taking these photos 😛

And if you’re digging tie dye as much as me, you’re in luck because clearly it’s trending again. I’m already feeling tempted to get myself another dress (maybe a maxi like this?) or a pair of knit shorts… Who want to join me?
