Date Night In Paradise
Sunset Dinner on the Beach

Catch The Bachelor reference? One-on-one date? With all the drama surrounding the new season of Bachelor in Paradise my #BachelorNation obsession has gotten out of hand. Sorry guys!!! No joke my life on Monday and Tuesday nights now solely consists of me plopped on the couch with a bag of chips in hand watching ABC… It’s like I can’t peel my eyes away!!! Has anyone else been watching?

But before I reveal my unhealthy obsession with reality TV any further, let’s get back to today’s dreamy post. On our last night at the One&Only Ocean Club Nick and I indulged in a beachside dinner that felt like a date planned straight out of an episode of The Bachelor. The table and chairs set up in the sand, candles and tiki torches, a bottle of champagne, red roses– it was so romantic!!! We knew that the Ocean Club team had planned something special for us, but we had no idea it would be so beautiful and intimate.

Funny story. Right at the top of the steps leading down to the beach there’s a deck where guests can look at the ocean and as we were sitting down for dinner we can hear murmurs from the folks above speculating about what we were celebrating. There were lots of “ohhhh I better they’re getting engaged!” Poor Nick, talk about pressure… While I didn’t leave with a ring on my hand (I swear it will happen, but we’re not ready just yet!) I did walk away with a champagne buzz and a food baby. 😛

This night was simply so dreamy and the perfect ending to a perfect getaway. And how Bachelor-esque that our dinner was timed right to sunset? I’d like to think that it was planned for that catamaran to sail by as we were snapping photos ❤️
