My Fall Uniform
Free People Softly Structured Tunic Sweater

My family trip to Idaho last week gave me the perfect excuse to debut a few new purchases I’d been holding on to for fall. If I could choose any kind of weather to have everyday for the rest of my life, it would be what I experienced in the mountains. Temperatures were cool and crisp in the 50s every morning and evening, but during the daytime reached the high 70s. It was the best of both worlds because every single day felt like summer AND fall!

OUTFIT DETAILS // Free People Softly Structured Knit Tunic (available in 5 colors!) | Raw Hem Skinny Jeans | Brown Booties (available in 4 colors!) | Canvas Tote Bag | Similar Felt Hat (also love this style too) | Sunglasses | Michele Watch | David Yurman Bracelets

You’ve all seen this Free People tunic sweater before. I bought it last year in beige and pretty much lived in it through the winter. It’s just that kind of piece that you can make work for a multitude of occasions. On casual comfy days it’s a staple sweater for pairing with jeans and flats. For date night or dining out, you can wear it untucked over leggings with over the knee boots. It’s beyond comfortable, the fabric is high quality and it comes in a bunch of colors.

I couldn’t resist buying it in brown when I saw it marked down at this year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. While it’s sadly no longer on sale, I still highly recommend buying because it’s something you’ll have in your closet for years. Absolutely worth the investment!
