Happy Monday friends! Please tell me I’m not the only one who didn’t realize this past weekend was Halloween… Not that I even celebrate it or had plans to dress up, but it totally caught Nick and I by surprise on Saturday when we saw kiddos in costumes. Since the weather was so crisp and pretty we decided to take a day trip out to the New Jersey ‘burbs for some food and farm fun. Many apple cider donuts were eaten and it was the perfect opportunity to throw on some recent cozy finds from Nordstrom.

The camel obsession continues! After wearing the same tan coat nearly all of last week, I figured it was time to switch up my outerwear (though I couldn’t resist sticking with the same color family :P) This faux shearling vest immediately caught my eye because it’s reversible! I love it paired over a crewneck sweater, leggings and over the knee boots. The sweater I’m wearing here comes in 7 different colors!

Here’s another simple fall combo that I wear way more often than I’d like to admit LOL. I get so much use out of these Spanx high waist leggings and have had these riding boots for nearly five years. What I really want to point out though is this quilted vest. It’s REVERSIBLE! One side is quilted and the other is a fluffy fleece sherpa. Two vests in one– what’s not to love?

Oh look who joined me for a shot! Jeez I’m so lucky lately… First our wedding, then a couples shoot in Paris and now cute farm pictures? I can’t remember a time that Nick has never been this open to having his photo taken– and in a such a short span of weeks too! I’m doubtful this will last for much longer so I’m taking advantage while he lets. me. I’m also freaking out because Nick NEVER wears jeans. He’s a sweatpants and chinos kinda guy and I’ve probably seen him in denim maybe 3-4x in the last ten years. Who did I marry??!! 😛

Our first weekend at home post-wedding was low key, but just what we needed. We kept joking that anytime we did something like going to bruncht to making apple cider margaritas that it was our first time doing it as “husband and wife.” Other than now having an official marriage certificate, there really is no difference in our relationship today versus how it was two weeks ago, but still it’s exciting to be able to refer to each other as spouse. 🙂
