I’m usually hit or miss when it comes to crafting. Whatever I’m making could either go really right, or really REALLY wrong. Thankfully I avoided the latter when I decided to create my own DIY holiday greenery table runner using inexpensive decorations ordered from Amazon.
DINING ROOM DETAILS // Dining Room Table | Wood Bench | Sheepskin Pelt (used as seating cushion) | Wishbone Chairs | Honeycomb Shelves
Since this is our first year in our new apartment (where we can actually fit a dining room table!) I knew I wanted to do some kind of special centerpiece. Nothing over-the-top that would take over the entire table, but something pretty and festive that wouldn’t cost a fortune or take a ton of time to create.
DIY Holiday Greenery Table Runner
Using a faux eucalyptus garland as a base, I intertwined Christmas tree accents, pillar candles in clear hurricane glasses, ribbon and other small holiday decorations with a string of battery-operated fairy lights to create a winter wonderland-esque centerpiece.
SUPPLIES NEEDED:
+ Eucalyptus Garland
+ Mini Flocked Christmas Trees
+ Frosted Pine & Berry Branches
+ Silver Poinsettia Decorations
+ Metallic Copper Ribbon
+ Battery-Operated Fairy Lights
+ White Pillar Candles
+ Glass Cylinder Candle Holders
You can either have the garland span vertically across your entire table or loop it in half concentrating it in the middle. Either option will undoubtedly look festive!
This runner can also be customized with whatever style ribbon or decorations you prefer– Amazon has literally every kind of crafty supply under the sun. I’m honestly shocked at how cute it turned out– way better than I expected!
