Upon arriving in Charleston we checked in to the Belmond Charleston Place, a hotel recommended by my friend Cathy. Guys, if you’re visiting Charleston this is the place to stay. Visiting Folly Beach was one of my favorite moments from our trip to Charleston. Located just 15 minutes outside of the city, Folly Beach is full of cute little shops, restaurants and oceanfront homes. By the time we left my parents beach house in North Carolina for Charleston we had gotten our share of the sun, so I chose to wear a lightweight white embroidered dress and a floppy hat to protect my skin.
