Easter weekend is always something I look forward to in the spring. I have so many great memories from childhood with my family opening up Easter baskets on Sunday morning, going to church in a pretty floral dress and then celebrating over a big yummy brunch. As I’ve gotten older I sadly haven’t been able to partake in family Easter festivities like I used to (so hard when everyone lives far away from one another) but this year we’re actually heading to Massachusetts to spend the holiday with Nick’s family for this first time so that should be fun.
Out of all the special occasions that required a certain outfit, shopping for an Easter dress was always my favorite when I was younger. I remember going to Nordstrom with my grandma every year and more often than not picking out something that full of bright colors and floral prints. Clearly not much has changed!
While this Eliza J high low maxi dress is obviously perfect for Easter, it’s a dress that would work for a number of occasions. Wedding guest. Bridal or baby shower. Graduation ceremony. The list goes on! The best is part is the value you get for the price. I’ve been wearing Eliza J dresses for years and can assure you that you’ll get way more bang for your buck with Eliza J vs more expensive formalwear brands. Right now I’m also eyeing this yellow maxi halter dress and this cute lil blue gingham number. I’m so ready for dress season!
Have a great weekend everyone and happy Easter! xo
