Over the past few years white dresses have become a main staple in my spring and summer wardrobe. They are crisp, clean and just look so effortless. Plus you can pair white with literally any other color! Talk about easy. I dunno about you guys, but I’d take a little white dress over a little black dress any day of the week. I know that’s not very New York of me, but whatever. I’ve been a NYC resident for almost six years now and I still have yet to adapt to the dark and edgy dress code 😛

In my opinion Lilly Pulitzer always kills the little white dress game. Their styles are simple, yet always have an extra touch that makes them special and worth the price. I’ve added two new dresses to my closet this season: a fitted spaghetti strap cutie (peep the cute tie in the back) and a stretchy sleeveless shift. Notice the pineapple embossed fabric and crochet neckline? LOVE.

Having a closet full of LBDs, I was sure I wouldn’t like these dresses. They are all adorable and look great on Miss Katie! You wear them simply with my favorite sandals and are in super shape. Not sure I could pull that off at my age! I do have a white shift with big black buttons I’ll have to dust off.
